نبذة

The site began as a Roman temple, became a Byzantine church and was later converted into a mosque. Damaged by fire in the nineteenth century, it is known for its truncated minaret. The ruins, with fragments of carved marble from each period, sit quietly in the lanes of Kaleiçi and reward a short detour.
