Akbar's Tomb

نبذة

Akbar began planning his tomb during his lifetime and his son Jahangir completed it around 1613, blending Hindu, Islamic, Buddhist and Jain motifs in a five-tiered structure without a dome. The southern gateway, with its four white marble minarets and bold inlaid patterns, is a masterpiece in its own right.
