Painted in the 1890s by Jan Styka and Wojciech Kossak, the canvas measures some 15 by 114 metres and depicts Kościuszko's victory over Russian troops in 1794. It came to Wrocław from Lviv after the war and was only shown publicly in 1985, in a rotunda where visitors stand at the centre of the scene.
