À propos
Around the year 300 Galerius made Thessaloniki one of his capitals, building a palace, an arch celebrating victory over the Persians and the great brick Rotunda. The Rotunda later became a church and then a mosque, keeping its minaret, and its dome still holds fragments of glittering early Christian mosaics.
Meilleur moment pour y aller: See the carved arch reliefs first, then walk up the old processional way to the Rotunda.
