À propos
Potters here have long worked the local grey clay, and in the twentieth century Doña Rosa Real developed the technique of burnishing pieces before firing to give them a metallic black sheen. Family workshops still demonstrate the craft, and the town's museum shows fine examples of Oaxacan popular art.
Meilleur moment pour y aller: Visit a family workshop to watch potters shape and burnish the clay, then see the town's folk art museum.
