À propos
Designed by Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux and opened in stages from the late 1850s, the park was one of the first major landscaped public parks in the United States. Highlights include the elm-lined Mall, Bethesda Fountain, the Bow Bridge over the Lake and the Strawberry Fields memorial to John Lennon. In warm weather its lawns fill with New Yorkers of every kind.
Meilleur moment pour y aller: Enter at the south-east corner and walk north past the Mall and Bethesda Terrace to the Reservoir.
