À propos
The Almohads laid out the Menara in the twelfth century as an orchard irrigated by a large basin fed from the mountains. The green-roofed pavilion beside the water dates from the nineteenth century. Marrakshis come here to stroll under the olive trees, and on a clear day the view of the pavilion against the High Atlas is one of the city's classic images.
Meilleur moment pour y aller: Visit on a clear morning, when the snow-capped Atlas stands behind the pavilion and its reflection.
