Kültürpark was created in 1936 on ground left in ruins by the great fire of 1922, and it has hosted the İzmir International Fair ever since. Tree-lined paths connect exhibition halls, an open-air theatre, a small lake and sports grounds, and the park is a welcome green refuge between the busy Alsancak and Basmane districts.
Meilleur moment pour y aller: Stroll through on a weekday afternoon, or visit during the September trade fair for a livelier scene.
