Just over the mountain from the city centre, Camps Bay is one of Cape Town's best-loved beaches. Its sweep of white sand is backed by the rocky buttresses of the Twelve Apostles and a palm-lined promenade of restaurants and bars. The water is bracingly cold, fed by the Atlantic, but the setting and sunsets are superb.
Meilleur moment pour y aller: Come for a late afternoon swim or stroll, then watch the sunset over the Atlantic from a café terrace.
