À propos
The stadium was first laid out in the fourth century BC for the Panathenaic Games and later rebuilt in marble by Herodes Atticus. Restored again for the 1896 Olympics, it is the only major stadium in the world built of marble, and a small museum displays torches and posters from the modern Games.
Meilleur moment pour y aller: Come in the late afternoon, take the audio guide and climb to the top row for the view.
