Información
Ramesses III built this great fortified temple in the twelfth century BC, entered through a gatehouse modelled on a Syrian fortress. Its walls record his battles against the Sea Peoples in vivid detail, and in the inner courts the original blues, reds and yellows survive remarkably well. Many visitors rate it as one of Luxor's great surprises.
Mejor momento para ir: Save it for the afternoon, when it is often quieter than the other west bank sites.
