Información
Founded by Rafael Larco Hoyle in 1926, the museum occupies a viceregal mansion built over a pre-Columbian pyramid and draped in bougainvillea. It traces thousands of years of Peruvian civilisation through ceramics, textiles and gold, with open storerooms of pottery and a gallery of Moche erotic ceramics.
Mejor momento para ir: Allow a couple of hours, visit the open storerooms, and stay for a meal in the garden café.
