Port Grand opened in 2011 along the nineteenth-century Native Jetty Bridge, which links the Karachi Port Trust area with Keamari. It was a joint effort between the Karachi Port Trust and a private company. Today it is a hub for dining, shopping and cultural events by the water, and its setting on the Napier Mole Bridge ties it to an important chapter in the city's history.
