Clifton Beach, widely known as Sea View, is the most popular beach in Karachi and faces the Arabian Sea. It is open to the public at all hours and draws families for walks along the sand, especially in the evening. The area around it has seen heavy commercial growth, since Clifton is one of the most sought-after parts of the city, but the shoreline itself remains the city's great open space.
