Información

The Loggia was built in the fourteenth century for public ceremonies and takes its name from the German lancers of Cosimo I who were quartered here. It now shelters a free collection of sculpture, including Benvenuto Cellini's bronze Perseus holding Medusa's head and Giambologna's Rape of the Sabine Women, carved from a single block.

Mejor momento para ir: Any time; it is free and open, and atmospheric at night.
