Información
Opened in 1796, the gaol held generations of Irish rebels, and the leaders of the 1916 Easter Rising were executed in its stonebreakers' yard. Guided tours lead through the dark older wing and the bright Victorian cell block, often seen in films, and a museum explores the history of imprisonment and nationalism.
Mejor momento para ir: Tours are by guide only and sell out, so book well ahead.
