In June 2014 the Paris gallery Itinerrance invited artists from around the world to the village of Erriadh on Djerba. Over the project they painted 250 murals on its walls, turning the village into an open-air gallery known as Djerbahood. The project put this small village on the map for art lovers, and wandering its streets in search of the murals makes an easy morning.
