Información
From the early seventeenth century the Jesuits made Córdoba the centre of their province, founding what became the oldest university in Argentina. The Colegio de Monserrat, founded in 1687, shares the block with the Church of the Company of Jesus, whose timber vault resembles an upturned ship's hull, and the university's historic rooms, all listed by UNESCO with the region's Jesuit estancias.
Mejor momento para ir: Take the guided tour of the Jesuit Block's historic rooms, then look up at the church's wooden vault.
