The gallery's collections span fine art, applied art, graphic design and photography, from medieval panels to contemporary work. Its buildings include the Governor's Palace, with old masters and nineteenth-century painting, and the Museum of Applied Arts, whose furniture, glass and design pieces reflect Brno's strong modernist tradition.
