Información
Carl Gotthard Langhans designed the gate in the late eighteenth century, and Johann Gottfried Schadow crowned it with the Quadriga, a chariot drawn by four horses. For almost three decades it stood in the no man's land beside the Berlin Wall, and the crowds who gathered here in 1989 made it an enduring image of a reunited city.
Mejor momento para ir: Come early in the morning or late at night, when Pariser Platz is quiet and the gate is softly lit.
