Karaalioğlu Park stretches along the cliffs near Kaleiçi, with lawns, flowerbeds and tea gardens. It offers fine views over the bay and the mountains, especially at sunset. Paths lead down to the harbour and along the old walls, and Hıdırlık Tower stands at the park's western edge above the sea.
