FAQ

Questions, answered.

Is Veduta free?

Yes. While Veduta is in preview every feature is free, within fair-use limits. When paid plans open, exploring in 3D and planning a trip stay free; the pricing page shows what each plan includes.

Which cities can I explore?

161 cities in 41 countries, from Florence, Paris and Kyoto to New York, Cape Town and Sydney. Search the list above, or sign in and ask Veduta to add any other city of 15,000 people or more.

Is the 3D city real?

Yes. The 3D view is built from Google's photorealistic imagery of the actual city, so you see the real streets, squares and rooftops, and you can drop to street level at any place.

How does the AI trip planner work?

You choose the city, the number of days, your pace and interests. The planner builds a day-by-day itinerary using only the places in Veduta's list for that city, grouped so each day works on foot. You can then drag places around, add or remove them and play the result as a flythrough.

Where do the descriptions come from?

In our curated cities, our editors write every description and check facts against open sources such as Wikidata and Wikipedia. In cities added by travellers, descriptions are written by AI from Wikidata and Wikipedia and marked “AI-generated, not yet verified” until we check them. Scores are editor's scores until enough visitors have rated a place.

Can I take my plan with me?

Export any trip as a PDF guide with a page per day, the order of stops, walking times and your own notes. Your trips also stay in your account on every device.

What do you do with my data?

Only what the service needs: your account, your trips and anonymous usage counts. Passwords are hashed with Argon2, we never sell data, and you can download or delete everything from your account settings at any time.

How can I contact you?

Write to hello@vedutatrip.com. A person reads every message, usually within two working days. You can also reply to any email Veduta sends you.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Veduta runs in any recent browser on desktop, tablet and phone. Devices without 3D graphics get a list view of every place instead.

Your next trip starts with a better view.
